Available Space on Cathedral Place
Parking is available on Cathedral Place for those attending services, meetings or parish events. A Cathedral parking pass is required from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Your vehicle will be towed if a Cathedral parking pass is not properly displayed. Passes are available at the Cathedral office or from your meeting or event host. Parking on Floyd Avenue , between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., next to the Cathedral, is limited to two hours. Available Space at VCU Facilities
When attending regular Saturday evening and Sunday liturgies at the Cathedral, you may park in the VCU lot (designated "VV") located west on Floyd Avenue. You may also park at the VCU parking deck south of the Landmark Theatre. The parking is free on the weekends unless there is an event at the Theatre. Entry to these spaces is FREE from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. (Sunday) & 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (both Saturday and Sunday). Note: The "deck closed decals only" can be ignored during these times. What Not To Do
The City of Richmond forbids parking in front of the Cathedral and in Monroe Park. Do not park in resident parking areas. If you park in these spaces, your vehicle will be ticketed or towed at your expense. Parking is not allowed on evenings or weekends in the lot behind the Diocese of Richmond offices but is for the use of Grace & Holy Trinity Church. |
